Cirque Du Soleil – Saltimbanco
Between whirlwind and lull, prowess and poetry, Saltimbanco takes spectators on an allegorical and acrobatic journey into the heart of the city. Saltimbanco is a Cirque du Soleil signature show inspired by the urban fabric of the metropolis and its colourful inhabitants. Decidedly baroque in its visual vocabulary, the show's eclectic cast of characters draws spectators into a fanciful, dreamlike world, an imaginary city where diversity is a cause for hope.

Rugby World Cup 2011
Rugby World Cup (RWC) is held every four years and is the third biggest sporting event in the world – and it’s coming to New Zealand in 2011! RWC 2011 will be held across New Zealand over a six-week period, kicking off in Auckland on 9 September 2011, with the grand final at Eden Park on Labour Weekend, 23 October 2011. The Wiggles look forward to touring New Zealand in 2009, for the first time since 2005!

Adidas Auckland Marathon 2011
The adidas Auckland Marathon is iconic on the New Zealand running calendar and fast gaining an international reputation. New Zealand’s premier road race is made up of five events: Full Marathon, Half Marathon, Quarter Marathon, 5km and Kids Marathon all set to start on the first Sunday after Labour weekend. The Marathon and Half Marathon events run over the Auckland Harbour Bridge - an experience within itself.
