Booking Terms and Conditions
All bookings are held in good faith to the arrival and departure date listed in this reservation, at the rate specified. To confirm reservations, either current valid credit card details are required, or a deposit received equal to first night's accommodation 10 days prior to arrival. Variations to this may apply during peak periods at the property's discretion.
How to Book / Quotes and Reservations
Bookings can be made over the internet at www.biancooffqueen.co.nz or calling 0800 800 144. Reservations are subject to availability and actual pricing at the time of booking. Verbal quotes are valid for 24 hours only. Any verbal quote given is only an estimate of the price, which will be subject to written advice on confirmation of the reservation from your booking agent.
Rates and Changes
Rates are effective from 1 January 2011 to 31 December 2012 and may be changed at anytime. Prices listed are in New Zealand Dollars and are inclusive of GST where applicable. The rates applicable do not include transport from your home port to holiday destination and return, items of a personal nature, meals (unless specified), transfers and existing or proposed taxes and government charges, unless otherwise indicated. Any verbal quote given is an estimate only of price, which will be subject to a written advice on confirmation of the reservation. The price of your holiday cannot be guaranteed until full payment is received. All prices and other payments and conditions should be confirmed with your travel agent at the time of booking.
A cancellation fee of one night's accommodation will apply to any booking cancelled within 24 hours prior to standard check time (i.e. 2pm the day prior). If no arrival time is specified, it is deemed by 10pm of that day. Any cancellation fee will automatically be charged to the credit card on the confirmation, or deducted from the reservation deposit.
Any property may alter these terms and conditions for specific bookings, and advise by return letter, the terms and conditions that will apply. (i.e. Group or Peak Period reservations).
Upon arrival, each guest will be required to sign a registration form, and accept the terms and conditions in regards to their stay. A valid credit card and photo id matching the credit card will be required upon check in as a security to your booking. Please note that a valid credit does not include a Debit card (i.e. Eftpos or Visa Debit). If no credit card is present upon check in, the booking will be treated as a cash booking and the cash check in requirements below need to be fulfilled prior to check in.
Payment of reservation - Bianco off Queen accepts all major credit cards. On arrival a pre-authorisation of your credit card for your accommodation amount may be required.
If paying in Cash / Eftpos / Visa Debit (and no valid credit card is on the room account as a guarantee), a room security bond of $250 per night will be required upon arrival. Please note that this amount may vary from apartment type to apartment type, please check with reception. The security bond is fully refundable upon check out if there are no extras on the room account (i.e. phone calls, internet usage, charge back facilities and any damage to the apartment which warrants a charge being applied). If you seek clarification over the cash bond, please contact the property directly and we will be happy to explain.
Cheques are not accepted as payment for accommodation unless received, banked and cleared 10 days prior to arrival as a full pre-paid deposit.
Cheques should not be sent to Bianco off Queen but instead posted to: Attention Prashanth: P.O. Box 24119, Royal Oak, Auckland.
Payment upon Check-In - Bianco off Queen requires full payment upon check in.
Check-in and Check-out
Standard check-in is 2pm and standard check-out is 10am. These times may vary, please ask your consultant or check the website. For guaranteed arrival prior to 2pm, a room must be reserved from the previous night and therefore includes an additional nightly charge.
Late check out up to 12 noon is at the discretion of the resort manager and must be requested the night before check out. Late check out after 12 noon will incur the following additional charges applied to your hotel account:
- 12 noon to 1pm - $60.00
- 1 pm to 2 pm - $100.00
- After 2pm the full daily rate applies
Kids (12 and under)
In most cases, children's prices for accommodation featured in the brochure or website refer to children occupying the same room/unit with at least two adults and using existing bedding (i.e. children will stay free of cost when using existing bedding provided with the room). Additional charges will apply if extra beds or linen (including sofa beds or cots) are required. Prices for any other combination of children and adults should be obtained directly from Bianco off Queen.
Accommodation
Whilst care is taken to ensure that the description of facilities and services of Bianco off Queen is accurate, these are continually being changed, upgraded, and on occasion taken out of service. If any feature/facility is essential for the passenger in choosing a particular property, it is advisable that the guest checks this with their travel consultant at time of booking. Bianco off Queen cannot be held liable for omissions or errors, whether temporary or permanent of a property's facilities and services. Property room photos may not be specific to actual room allocated. Photos are indicative only. Accommodation facilities listed may not apply to all room types.

Whilst we attempt to satisfy all special requests, we are unable to provide a guarantee.

Map images, if shown, are for general information and may not necessarily reflect actual routings, locations or services provided. Many of the destination shots featured in this website have been supplied by tourism authorities.
Booking Arrangements
The person effecting a booking shall be deemed to have accepted the booking conditions on behalf of all persons named in the booking.
Under 18's
All clients under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a parent/guardian or an individual over the age of 18, the property has the right to refuse any booking, when the legal guardian over 18 cannot provide current photo ID if requested on check-in.
Package Prices / Per Night Prices
Per night prices are to be used as an indicator only and not as an extra night rate.
Responsibility
Bianco off Queen can sometimes include third party products in special packages. As an agent on behalf of this product or service, Bianco off Queen shall not be liable under any circumstances for any failure by those service providers to fulfil such travel arrangements nor for any error, alteration or change of any kind made by those service providers following the acceptance of the booking by them. All coupons, vouchers, receipts and tickets are issued subject to the terms and conditions specified by those service providers.
Bianco off Queen both for itself and on behalf of their employees or agents do not accept any responsibility for any act, omission, default or neglect of themselves, their employees or agents for injury, damage, or loss to persons or goods whatsoever or however the same may be caused and they do not warrant and are in no way responsible for the accuracy of any information given in statement made by their service providers in terms of travel arrangements. By utilising the travel services provided by Bianco off Queen you agree that:
- Bianco off Queen shall not be liable for the wilful or negligent acts and/or omissions of such carriers and/or service providers. Bianco off Queen will not be liable for any accident, injury, delay, property damage or personal loss to you or those travelling with you in connection with any accommodation, transportation, or other travel services resulting directly or indirectly from any occurrences or conditions beyond its control, including but not limited to acts of terrorism, act of God, defects in vehicles, war, strikes, theft, delay, cancellation, civil disorder, disaster, Government regulations or changes in itinerary or schedule.

Every effort is made to ensure that information displayed on this website is correct. Information and rates and Bianco off Queen's websites are subject to change without notice. Bianco off Queen only accepts instructions on the above terms.
Bianco off Queens Right of Refusal: Bianco off Queen reserves the right to refuse any guest it deems not fit to stay in the premises. This could include being intoxicated, carrying drugs or dangerous weapons or being abusive to staff. Please note that this is not a complete list of all activities that could warrant refusal of entry or dismissal, this is up to management's discretion.
Deposit
100 percent of the first night will be charged on the day of booking and is refundable if cancelled in accordance with our cancellation policy above.
Responsible Tourism Statement
Welcome to Bianco off Queen Serviced Apartment Hotel. We appreciate that all businesses have impacted environmentally and socially as a result of their activities. Ours is no exception. We have developed the following environmental policy which is based on our commitment to improving performance across all the areas of our business practice, and in the services we offer.
Sustainability is an ongoing journey which will further evolve with time, knowledge and technology. We at Bianco off Queen will endeavour to actively reduce any effects through buying wisely, using resources efficiently, disposing of waste responsibly, and providing an environmentally and socially responsible experience for both our staff and guests.
Actions that are taken by Bianco off Queen:
- We offer a towel and linen change option in our apartments to guests. This gives them an option of whether they want to re-use, rather than unnecessarily having them changed every day when they are not required. These signs are placed in all bathrooms.
Effect: Reduce energy and water use - Bianco off Queen have ensured that all common hall way and all in room are only energy efficient light bulbs. Further, we have placed stickers in all our rooms reminding guests to switch off the lights before they leave. If this is not adhered to, our housekeepers switch of lights for all departure rooms to save even more.
Effect: Reduce energy consumption - We have placed recycling bins in our rubbish rooms to actively encourage our guests and staff to recycle rubbish when appropriate. Further, we have kept bio-degradable bags for recyclable rubbish only in every apartment.
Effect: More Recycling = Less wastage - Our centralised water heaters operate within a temperature range of 58 – 64 degrees.
Effect: Reduce the amount the electricity consumption - Staffs are conscious not to print unnecessarily emails and are encouraged where possible to recycle paper. This is evident by our front office and back office recycling stacks that are taken to the recycle bin daily.
Effect: Less paper wastage and more Recycling - Bianco off Queen tries to use Green Cabs and Auckland Co-operative taxis as our preferred tax providers within the Auckland district. Green cabs are an environmentally friendly taxi company that use hybrid cars to save petrol and reduce their effect on the environment. Further, Auckland Co-operative has a very comprehensive environmental policy that ensures that all their cars are not petrol only. We were impressed with these companies’ initiatives and try and give them as much business as possible.
Effect: Reduction of Carbon emissions - We have timed lighting around our property to reduce the amount of hours that lights are in operation.
Effect: Reduction of energy usage - Bianco off Queen donates to various community service agencies and social events.
Effect: Socially responsible donation. - Bianco off Queen have washing machines that work that work on environmentally friendly technology. They use less than half the amount of water. The manuals encourage ways to save energy, detergent, water and time. Further, all our toilets are dual flush toilets.
Effect: Water Saving and Reduction - Where possible, we have asked our plant provider to plant all of our gardens with natives to encourage bird life and reduce the need for excessive irrigation. Further, all our irrigation is timer controlled to reduce water wastage.
Effect: Reduction of irrigation - Currently, all our car park lights and public areas are energy saving compact fluorescents.
Effect: Reduce energy consumption - Management at Bianco off Queen has taken an active role in energy saving practices being conveyed and passed on to staff. Such things include the active participation in switching of lights when entering guest rooms, heating, fans and towel rails unoccupied in rooms.
